Geography

At 1,246,700 km square, Angola is the world's twenty-third largest country (after Niger). It is comparable in size to Mali and is nearly ten times the size of England.

Angola is bordered by Zambia to the east, Namibia to the south, the South Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the north-east. The exclave of Cabinda also borders the Republic of the Congo to the north. Angola's capital, Luanda, lies on the Atlantic coast in the north-west of the country.
