Internal Transport

Some main towns are connected by internal flights.

Car hire is available in Maseru. The road system is underdeveloped and the majority of roads are unpaved, making them impassable during the rainy season. However, the main road that runs through the towns from the north to the southern and western borders is tarred.

Due to incidents of vehicle hijacking, visitors are advised not to drive in rural areas at night.
