The Manila Times, Manila Bulletin, Philippine Daily Inquirer and the Philippine Star are all printed in English.

Television is provided by a number of operators, including the government-owned IBC, and the commercial ABS-CBN and GMA Network, both of which also operate national radio stations. Other national radio stations include Radio Mindanao Network, Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC) and the government-run Philippine Broadcasting Service (PBS), which operates 31 stations nationwide with an emphasis on news and public affairs.
