Local Media
The Bangkok Post, The Nation, and Thailand Times are printed in English. Thai-language newspapers include Thairath and the Daily News.
Television is provided by a number of operators, such as:
- BBTV Channel 7 (owned by Royal Thai Army)
- Channel 9 TV (operated by the Mass Communications Organisation of Thailand (MCOT), a government agency)
- Independent Television - ITV (part-owned by prime minister's office)
- Television of Thailand - TVT- Channel 11 (operated by National Broadcasting Services of Thailand (NBT), part of government Public Relations Department)
- Thai TV3 (operated by government agency MCOT)
- TV5 (owned by Royal Thai Army)
The National Broadcasting Services of Thailand (NBT) also runs a national radio network and external service, whilst government agency MCOT runs MCOT Radio Network, with provincial networks and stations in Bangkok. Army Radio is a network owned by Royal Thai Army.
