Local Media

Daily newspapers, such as Al Dia, Diario Extra, El Heraldo, La Nacion and La Republica are all published in Spanish. There is however, one weekly English-language newspaper: The Tico Times.

There are a range of television channels, such as Conexion (channel 2), Repretel (channels 4, 6, 11), Teletica (channel 7) and the public channel Canal 13.

There are also a wide variety of radio stations, including:
