Local Media

There are a number of English-language papers available in Bulgaria, including The Sofia Echo, Dnevnik, and Standart. Local-language dailies include 24 Chasa, Monitor, Novinar, Pari and Trud.

Bulgarian National Television (BNT) operates Kanal 1 and satellite channel TV Bulgaria; there are also a number of private TV companies, such as 7 Dni, bTV and Nova TV.

Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) operates the radio networks Horizont and Hristo Botev, as well as the external service: Radio Bulgaria. Other national radio stations include Darik Radio.
