Internal Transport

Qatar has a reasonable road system but conditions deteriorate during wet weather. Car hire is available from local and international companies at the airport and hotels.

There are no public buses, but taxis are available, which can be hired per journey or on an hourly basis. They are metered and are recognisable by their orange and white colour, with black and yellow number plates.
