Local Media

There are a number of daily newspapers published in Bolivia, almost all of them in Spanish. These include La Razon and El Diario (La Paz), Los Tiempos (Cochabamba), El Deber and El Mundo (Santa Cruz) and Correo del Sur (Sucre).

Television Boliviana (Canal 7) is the government-run commercial TV channel, and there are also private stations, including Santa Cruz-based Bolivision (Canal 4) and Unitel (Canal 9); La Paz-based ATB Red Nacional (Canal 9) and Red Uno (Canal 11); and the national Red PAT.

The state operates 2 radio stations: Radio Illimani and the community network Radio Patria Nueva. Other stations include Radio Panamericana, a national talk and news network, and Radio Fides, a Catholic channel.
